Saxon Reach

The Saxon Reach Restoration Project is located between river miles 11.6 and 12.7 on the main stem of the South Fork Nooksack in Acme, Washington (Whatcom County).

This project constructed 7 engineered logjams and a log complex to reduce bank erosion. In the summer of 2011, the log complex and 2 logjams were built. The remaining five was completed in the summer of 2012.
