Criminal Defense Services

This office shall represent, appoint an attorney, or arrange for appointment of an attorney, to represent and assist every defendant, adult and juvenile charged with a criminal offense in the Lummi Tribal Court until resolution of the case. 

Counsel's purpose to provide the client with sufficient information and knowledge regarding the procedural, legal and factual issues of their case; to assist each client in making an informed and knowledgeable decision, when necessary, in the legal process. To investigate, prepare, and advocate for the client in their best legal interest, all within legal and ethical boundaries.
