U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Safety Inspections Event
The US Coast Guard will be available to conduct safety inspections of Lummi fishing vessels by appointment. Getting a safety inspection ahead of time is not only good for you and your crew's safety, but can help prevent ill-timed on-the-water Coast Guard stops during commercial openings. The Coast Guard will also be issuing immersion suit exemption letters. You must pass the vessel safety inspection in order to receive the immersion suit exemption letter. The safety inspection and exemption letter are valid for 2 years.
Please Contact Guy Redfox, 360-746-5725, or email at GuyR@lummi-nsn.gov to schedule your inspection.
